​About Avand

Our Story

Avand began as a café–bakery concept in Rasht, in the green Gilan province of Northern Iran.
What started as a single location with a focus on better ingredients and better experience has evolved into a holding structure focused on:

  • Food & beverage concepts (Avand café branches)
  • F&B production workshops
  • Trade and supply of food products and ingredients


Today, Avand combines local roots with systems, data, and disciplined operations to serve partners across the region.

Our Philosophy

In Persian, “Avand” refers to the vessels inside a plant that transport nutrients from the roots to the leaves and fruit. For us, this is a blueprint:

  • We start from roots: farmers, tea and rice fields, beekeepers, saffron growers, and local recipes.
  • We build strong vessels and stems: production standards, financial discipline, and clear processes.
  • We deliver fruit: products and brands that feel authentic yet modern and scalable.​​​​​​​
